DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE VENDING MACHINES FOR PEOPLE WHO BUY AT THE MACHINE
Union Tech will instruct you how to use the vending machine in the most detailed, simple and easy way.
Currently on the market there are many payment methods when purchasing goods on vending machines, but the most popular in Vietnam are:
- Payment by cash.
- Payment by scanning QR code.
- Payment by scanning the company’s card (For companies, businesses, offices with policies to provide water, milk, snacks for employees).
Cash payment method:
Step 1: Select the product you want to buy:
Select according to the serial number pasted right at the water box, from 01 to 60 (depending on the number of trays of the machine).
Note: When selecting boxes from 01 to 09, you should press the number “0” in front, for example: 01, 02, 03, 04,…
Step 2: Insert cash into the cash tray:
The vending machine will usually have instructions or notes on the denomination of the machine, pay attention to the denomination the machine can accept, usually from 100,000 VND or less.
Note: Keep the money straight, insert each bill, do not wrinkle, fold the edges and especially the money must be dry.
For machines that do not return change, you should give the full amount of the product you want to buy.
For machines that return change, after inserting money and ending the purchase, press the “CANCEL” key to receive the change back.
Most vending machines can only set the change to one denomination, for example: the machine sets the change to 10,000 VND, when returning the change it will give out 10,000 VND, 20,000 VND, 30,000 VND,… it cannot give out small change from 1,000 to 9,000 VND, so you need to enter the amount appropriate to your purchasing needs.
Step 3: Receive the product at the pick-up counter

Note: For products with gas, please open the lid after 2 minutes of picking up the product

For vending machines with QR codes displayed on the dial screen:
Step 1: Select the product you want to buy:

Use the banking app or e-wallet to scan the QR Code generated on the screen.

For vending machines with QR codes displayed on separate boxes:
Step 1: Scan the code on the box to transfer money:
Enter the amount to be loaded to purchase, you can load money to buy multiple products at once.
Step 2: Select the product you want to buy:
Select according to the serial number pasted right at the water box, from 01 to 60 (depending on the number of trays of the machine).
Note: When selecting boxes from 01 to 09, you should press the number “0” in front, for example: 01, 02, 03, 04, …
Then press the “ENTER” key.
Step 3: Receive the product at the pickup area:

Step 1: Touch the card to the box
Step 2: Select the product you want to buy
